HS2 Ltd has published the details of their information events for Phase 2b of the route.
Communities can attend and find out more details on route changes, property compensation and assistance schemes at Polesworth on January 14 and Kingsbury on 17th January.
On November 15th the Government announced the preferred route for Phase 2b of the the proposed High Speed Two (HS2) railway from Crewe to Manchester and West Midlands to Leeds. As part of this announcement, the Government launched two consultations to run until March 9th (2017) on the substantial changes being proposed to the route, and the property compensation and assistance schemes being proposed for people affected by the plans.
At the events there will be a range of staff from across all disciplines at HS2 to discuss the impact of the route refinements with communities in their areas. In addition, the majority of events will have the facility of the sound demonstration booth for those attending to gain a better understanding of the noise levels from high speed rail operations.
