County Council lodges House of Lords petition

Warwickshire County Council has submitted a petition to the House of Lords for changes to the HS2 hybrid bill legislation.

The petition contains the county council’s requests to address the impact of HS2 on Warwickshire.

Warwickshire County Council previously petitioned the House of Commons HS2 select committee, during which the authority secured a number of assurances from HS2 Ltd to mitigate the railway and improve the outcomes on the county.

The House of Lords petition is the fourth submitted by the county council.
