The HS2 Select Committee has released its initial findings and recommendations from its first ten months of hearings.
The committee has now ceased sitting until after the May general election but has published an interim report to hand over to its successor which will reconvene in the summer.
The report contains a number of suggestions for changes to the proposed HS2 scheme. It outlines its priority for home purchases by HS2 Ltd, and in particular for a functional ‘Need to Sell’ scheme.
It also contains a summary of its views and recommendations affecting the Warwickshire section of the line, stretching from Middleton in North Warwickshire to Wormleighton in the south.
